ABOUT:

I made this painting for the life of Jerry Saltz— a man who, whether the world realizes it or not, is a living work of art himself. Not because I agree with everything he says (I don’t). But because he dares. He speaks loud. He stirs things up. He makes people think. He makes people feel. Art does that—and so does Jerry.

This piece is a puzzle. A code only I believe he can solve. A story painted with color, heart, questions, and clues from his own life. His journey. His layers. His legacy. Written through my hands, but told about him.

You see, I believe Jerry has done something most critics never even attempt— He’s brought people together. Not always by agreement, but by engagement.

And isn’t that what art is for?

He’s stayed in the background at times, but the world still listened. He took risks. He jumped into the unknown. He gave the art world a vlog, a voice, and a vibe. And whether he knows it or not… he’s inspired thousands of artists like me.

This is my writing on canvas. It’s a story, a history, and a conversation for the world of art .

To Jerry— From an artist who sees that beneath the opinions, the posts, the persona— there’s a genuine heart!
